About us
The Northport Pier Restaurant is located in an authentic boat building shop. The building was renovated to retain its character and heritage look. Our decor features aged wood, walls thick with memorabilia, 18-foot ceilings, and a multi-level dining area. Local antiques, flea market finds, plank floors, and maritime pieces create a unique atmosphere.
Two walls of windows allow diners to gaze at the breathtaking view of Cascumpec Bay and Northport Harbour, home to one of the Island’s largest fishing fleets. The busy fishing port offers ever changing scenes of fishers bringing in and unloading the day’s catch. Watch fishing vessels as they enter the mouth of the harbour and dock at the wharf.
Watch the Bay ebb and flow creating stunning backdrops throughout the day. At low tide Great Blue Herons gather by the hundreds in the nearby waters. Guests often jump from their seats get the perfect shot of anything from arriving fishing vessels, a Giant Blue Fin Tuna, or even a double rainbow!
Our Menu
Inspired by what Prince Edward Island has to offer from both the land and sea, we strive to create a unique menu that appeals to every diner. Located next to a working fishing harbour, we are proud to support our local fisherman by sourcing local seafood in our dishes. Our fries are never frozen and are house cut daily with potatoes from local growers. We bake our bread fresh every day. PEI vegetables garnish our plates when in season. Our desserts are made in house from scratch. We believe the little things can go a long way when preparing a meal and take pride in preparing our food in house with the freshest ingredients possible.

We are a full service restaurant open from mid June to September. We can accommodate diners with vegetarian, gluten free, or other dietary restrictions.
